The Mayor of Fareham, Councillor Pal Hayre, will officially open a special art exhibition by homecare provider Right at Home Solent.
The unique display, taking place on August 10 and lasting until September 13 at Fareham Library, features creative pieces from treasured clients coping with dementia and other health conditions.
The launch begins at 12.30pm, providing an opportunity to mingle with Right at Home staff and meet the artistic minds behind the floral-themed works.
Attendees also have the privilege of hearing a speech from Councillor Hayre.
Amy Popat, director of Right at Home Solent, said: "This exhibition is a true example of what can be achieved if we encourage older people to do things they normally wouldn’t.
"Witnessing the crafts in action has brought so much joy, purpose and friendship to those involved, as well as stimulating Clients to achieve something new and give them purpose."
The exhibition concept was born from Marketing Assistant Lucy Cull and Recruitment Coordinator Jazz Sim.
They believed the crafts, crafted throughout the year in Right at Home's sociable coffee clubs, deserved public recognition.
These clubs stimulate interaction and engagement among clients through activities like bingo and papercraft.
Right at Home Solent, a family-owned homecare company established by Amy and Kev Popat in 2015, offers top-rated care.
To date, it has assisted over one thousand clients in Fareham, Gosport, Southampton, the New Forest, and nearby regions maintain independent living in their own residences.
The public are welcome to the exhibition starting from the launch day at 12.30, viewable during library hours until September 13.
Admission is free.
Fareham Library, situated on Osborn Road and wheelchair-friendly, provides the venue for this extraordinary celebration of the artistic abilities of Right at Home's clients.
