A major road in Southampton will be closed this week.
Northam Bridge and Bitterne Road West are set to be hit by four nights of road works starting from Tuesday, lasting for four nights until Friday.
The closures will be in place from 8pm until 6am, allowing for rush-hour and daytime traffic to use the road unimpeded.
Both Bitterne Road West and Northam Bridge are often subject to congestion in the morning and evening during rush hour, so it will come as welcome news to Southampton commuters that the closure of the bridge will be overnight.

Northam Bridge is to be shut for Southampton City Council to carry out resurfacing work on the carriageway.
For drivers that need to travel across the bridge while the work is underway, a diversion has been set up through Cobden Bridge.
The diversion route will take drivers from the Rampart Road junction on Bitterne Road West to Bullar Road and onto Cobden Avenue.
Motorists will then travel across Cobden Bridge and join the A335, Thomas Lewis Way.
Travelling through Bevois Valley, drivers can then take Mount Pleasant Road which leads back to the other side of Northam Bridge.
