The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

MARCEL BUZDUGAN, 33, of John Thornycroft Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to drink driving on Central Bridge Southampton. He was caught driving a Mercedes with 91 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Buzdugan was banned from driving for 24 months and received a £769 fine. He was ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £308 surcharge. 

DAVID ALLEN, 36, of Cromer Road, Southampton admitted to driving without insurance and driving whilst disqualified on Romsey Road, Windermere Avenue and Kendal Avenue, Southampton. He was in a silver VW Golf at the time. Allen received an eight-week sentence suspended for 18 months with 30 days on an accredited programme and five rehabilitation days. He was banned from driving for one year, two months and nine days. Allen must pay £85 court costs. 

FOIVOS ZYGOMALAS, 34, of Briton Street, Southampton pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen for analysis in Southampton. He received a one-year community order with 80 hours of unpaid work and a 20-month driving ban. Zygomalas must pay £400 court costs and a £114 surcharge.

NELSON DUPUTE, 65, of International Way, Southampton admitted to drink driving on Bridge Road, Southampton. He was caught with 58 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Dupute was banned for 12 months and must pay a £461 fine. He must also pay £85 court costs and a £184 surcharge. 

ALIN GROSU, 36, of Kingsley Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to drink driving on The Mount in Ringwood. He was caught with 79 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Grosu was banned from driving for four months and must pay a £576 fine. He must also pay £85 court costs and a £230 surcharge. 

ADAM BUNCLARK, 27, of Lea Road, Langley admitted a charge of assault by beating of an emergency worker. This relates to an incident involving a police officer in Southampton. Bunclark was fined £500 and must pay £85 court costs plus a £200 surcharge.
