A busy road is set to be closed for more than a month amid a fresh set of roadworks.
After being affected by road works twice in two months, Allington Lane in Fair Oak is set to have a further two bouts of road works in August and September.
The next set of road works for Allington Lane will see the road closed from August 19 to 23 for Hampshire County Council highway teams to complete carriageway repairs.
Work takes place over overnight from 7pm–6am Monday to Friday. The road will be open during weekdays and at the weekends.

Following on from that, the road will be closed for more than a month, from September 16 to October 28.
According to One.Network, the closure is in place for highways teams to undertake ‘footway reconstruction works’ on the busy stretch of road that links Chartwell Green with Fair Oak.
