Motorists have been warned as two roads are set to close as part of ongoing works to improve a road layout.
Started today (August 7), both Bakers Drove and Redbridge Lane in Nursling will be closed between 9.30am and 4.30pm.
The closures come as part of ongoing works to improve the layout of the A3057 between Southampton and Romsey.
The two roads will be shut during these hours Monday to Friday until September 3 so that new surface water drainage can be installed and new traffic signals can be connected.

Signed diversions will be in place and access to properties within the work areas will be maintained wherever possible.
Emergency services will also be allowed to gain access during this period.
A spokesperson for Hampshire County Council said the scheme "will increase capacity on the A3057 at Nursling and Rownhams to better cope with additional traffic generated by new development in the area and reduce congestion.
"Once completed, the new road layout will make it easier and safer for people to walk and cycle and ensure more reliable journey times for bus passengers."
