The Drift Inn, at Beaulieu, has just launched its new Summer Sounds music series, alongside the introduction of new management to the renowned New Forest collection pub.
The Summer Sounds series promises to be a highlight of the season, offering a delightful blend of music, food, and family entertainment every Friday from 4pm to 10pm. Local artists will take centre stage at 6pm.

Helen Hall, the new General Manager at The Drift Inn, told the Daily Echo: "Summer at The Drift Inn promises to be a lively affair, with a host of exciting events lined up, including the return of the 99p Whippy!
"We’re proud to showcase local talent with live music every Friday, all set against the picturesque backdrop of our beloved New Forest. It's perfect for families who are looking to create memories, with roaming ponies, a play park and a great atmosphere.”
Known for his innovative approach to traditional pub fare, new head chef Ian Gibbs is expected to elevate the menu while maintaining the inn's rustic charm.
Diners can indulge in delicious offerings from the pub menu, including the famous Drift Burger, while enjoying the musical performances.
And In a nod to nostalgia, the New Forest Collection has also reintroduced the beloved Whippy ice cream at a mere 99p, sure to be a hit during the school summer holidays.
Located in Forest heathland, midway between bustling Lyndhurst and quaint Beaulieu, The Drift is the perfect pitstop for a drink or a bite to eat.
Next door to former coaching inn turned hotel Beaulieu Inn, it's open daily from 7am to 11pm offering scrumptious breakfasts, hearty lunches and delightful dinners - including the famous Drift Burger!
