A small number of motorway closures may impact Southampton drivers this weekend according to National Highways England.
These will be along the M3, M27 and M271 roads during the early hours of the morning.
If you're planning to travel along these roads from Southampton it would be best to take note of different diversions that may be in place.
Here are the closures along the M3, M27 and M271 that will be in place during the weekend of Friday, August 9 to Sunday, August 11.
Hampshire M3, M27 and M271 closures for Friday, August 9
M3
On the M3 southbound there will be a link road closure between the M27 eastbound between 9pm and 6am.
Additionally, a link road going to the A303 westbound will also be shut at the same time.
Finally, on the northbound way, there will be an exit slip road closure at Junction 4.
This will also occur between 9pm and 6am so that barrier repairs can take place.
M27
On the M27 eastbound, there will be a carriageway closure between Junction 4 and Junction 8.
This will take place from 9pm on Friday to 6am on Saturday for major resurfacing work.
M271
In both directions on the M271 from Redbridge to the M27 Junction 3 there will be a carriageway closure for resurfacing work.
This is scheduled to take place from 10pm on Friday until 7am on Saturday.

M3
There are no closures scheduled for the M3 on this day.
M27
On the M27 eastbound way, there will be an entry slip road closure at Junction 1 for maintenance work.
This will take place from 9pm on Saturday until 6am on Sunday.
M271
There are no closures scheduled for the M271 on this day.

Hampshire M3, M27 and M271 closures for Sunday, August 11
M3
On the M3 northbound way there will be an entry slip road closure at Junction 7 for maintenance work.
This will take place from 9pm on Sunday until 6am on Monday.
