CCTV has been released after sun cream, deodorant, and eye drops were stolen from Boots.

Police have released a photo of a man they would like to speak to after items totalling £40 were taken from Boots in Whiteley.

The incident occurred on at around 11.50am on Saturday, July 27. 

Witnesses say the suspect concealed the items under his gilet before leaving the store without attempting to pay.

In a statement, a spokesperson for Hampshire Police said: “We have conducted a number of enquiries and are now asking the public for help in identifying him.

“The man is described as being around 40 to 50-years-old, slim, with short brown hair.

“He was wearing white patterned shirt, light coloured jeans, black and white trainers, and a gilet.

“If you recognise him, please call us on 101 with reference 44240323199.”
