A giant magic lamp has been installed at Westquay ahead of the arrival of Disney's Aladdin at Mayflower Theatre next month.
The giant golden lamp, which is the size of a small car, will be at the shopping centre on Level 2 until Sunday.
Shoppers will be able to pose for selfies with the magic lamp and enter a competition to see the show in Southampton by scanning the QR code on the lamp.

The show, which runs from September 5 to 29, has already been seen by over 14 million people worldwide and involves one lamp, three wishes and infinite possibilities.
Adapted from Disney’s 1992 animated film and centuries-old folktales including One Thousand and One Nights, this smash-hit musical features the timeless songs from the animated film including Friend Like Me, A Whole New World, One Jump Ahead, Prince Ali, and Arabian Nights, as well as new music.
