Police rushed to Fawley after two groups of men were seen fighting in the village centre
Eyewitnesses have told the Echo that two groups of men were seen fighting at around 10.30 am on Tuesday in the village centre.
The incident saw two groups exchange blows outside of Fawley Garage on The Square before both groups left the scene and the police arrived.
A Fawley resident who witnessed the brawl from a window said there was an “incident” on the road outside and “a group of lads were running backwards and forwards across the street giving it fisty cuffs”.

Another witness, a member of staff from a nearby business, said that it was clear that an argument had become aggressive and resulted in a fight.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: “We received reports at around 10.45am today, Tuesday, August 13, of an altercation taking place between four men on The Square in Fawley.
“We attended and are carrying out enquiries into the circumstances of the incident.
“We haven’t made any arrests at the current time.”
