Southampton ranked as best UK city for an Italian takeaway

Analysis was conducted by QR Code Generator which looked into every restaurant offering online delivery on Just Eat.

These takeaways were categorised into 42 cuisine types with the reviews then analysed to find which cuisines are the most highly rated by customers.

After that, a ranking score could be given to find out which city was best for specific takeaways.

Top 10 UK cities for an Italian takeaway

According to the analysis from QR Code Generator, the top 10 UK cities for an Italian takeaway were:

1. Southampton - 4.33/5

2. Newport - 4.32/5

3. Sheffield - 4.31/5

4. Bath - 4.29/5

5. Leeds - 4.26/5

6. Brighton - 4.23/5

6= Cardiff - 4.23/5

7. Liverpool - 4.2/5

7= Edinburgh 4.2/5

8. Oxford - 4.18/5

Discussing Southampton they wrote: "Southampton has the highest-rated Italian takeaways in the UK.
