A cyclist has died after a crash with a Honda Jazz.
Ethan Wilkie, 16, was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after the crash at around 9.45pm on Tuesday.
It happened at the junction of Portsdown Hill Road, Portchester Lane and Skew Road.
Hampshire Constabulary, which was called to the incident by the ambulance service, has now confirmed that Ethan, from Portsmouth, has died in hospital.
His family are being supported by specialist officers.

As previously reported, an 18-year-old man from Gosport was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and drug driving.
He has now been released on bail until September 12 while police enquiries continue.
Officers also arrested a 17-year-old man from Lee-on-the-Solent on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. However, following police enquiries he has since been released with no further action taken against him.
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses.
