People have just over two weeks remaining to finish the 'Light the South' Art Trail.
It features 40 8ft lighthouses - 35 in Southampton, five in Cowes on the Isle of Wight, and an extra 40 mini lighthouses exhibited in shop windows and at other landmarks along the trail.
Each lighthouse has been created by artists to showcase southern culture, heritage, and diversity.
They will be auctioned off next month to raise money for the Southampton Hospitals Charity supporting its critical work for babies, children, and young people across the South of England, including the Isle of Wight.
Fran Collins, CEO, Red Funnel which is supporting the trail, said: "The trail is a lot of fun and a great way to spend time with friends and family while also getting some exercise and enjoying the sunshine.
"Several of our Red Funnel colleagues have already completed the trail with their friends, colleagues or family - indeed, one of our colleagues and her children recently logged 22,000 steps finding all the lighthouses in just one day, proving that the Light the South trail can be completed as a one-day challenge.
"Of course, some may prefer to split the trail into smaller chunks over longer periods. Whichever way you prefer to take on Light the South, we just hope you give it a go, and most of all, have fun!"
A key aspect of the event is the 'Light the South' app, which allows participants to record their progress along the trail using unique codes on each lighthouse.
The app provides a means to 'collect' lighthouses, set milestones and access special offers.
Those who participate can also take advantage of discounted travel rates by Red Funnel by scanning codes on two specific lighthouses - 'Solent Ships' in Southampton and 'Light of Green' in East Cowes.
In addition to these features, Red Funnel has developed the 'Light the South Window Spotting' lighthouse trail, which encompasses 40 mini lighthouse replicas displayed in shop windows across Cowes and East Cowes.
Participants can join this facet of the trail until September 12 and may enter to win one of ten 'Paint your own lighthouse' sculptures.
In an exciting close to the event, all of the main lighthouse sculptures will be displayed at the Southampton International Boat Show prior to being auctioned off on September 20.
The trail ends on September 1.
