A police helicopter has been circling above Southampton this afternoon.
Many residents in Lordshill, Bassett Green and Stoneham areas may have seen a police helicopter circling around the city this afternoon.

It appears that the helicopter has circled a number of times in the Stoneham area, near to the M27 junction 5.
Hampshire police have confirmed the reason behind the helicopter activity in the city.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "This is in relation to a search for a missing person."
