A sailor has been rescued by a lifeboat after they were injured whilst onboard a racing yacht.
A lifeboat was launched from Lymington on August 23 at around 5.50pm after reports of an injured sailor on Lymington River.
The lifeboat team proceeded to the mouth of the river where they managed to spot the yacht with the injured person onboard.
Two crew members went onto the vessel to assess the injured sailor.
The yacht was then scored to the harbour master's pontoon before the lifeboat was prepared and made ready for service again.
