Hampshire M3, M27 and M271 closures: August 30-September 1

These will be along the M3, M27 and M271 roads during the early hours of the morning.

If you're planning to travel along these roads from Southampton it would be best to take note of different diversions that may be in place.

Here are the closures along the M3, M27 and M271 that will be in place during the weekend of Friday, August 30 to Sunday, September 1.

Hampshire M3, M27 and M271 closures for Friday, August 30

M3

There will be a link road closure from the M3 southbound to the A303 westbound for barrier works to take place.

This will occur from 9pm on Friday until 6am on Saturday.

M27

On the M27 eastbound way, there will be exit and entry slip road closures between Junction 5 and 7. 

Alongside that, just the exit slip road at Junction 8 will be closed as well.

This will occur from 10pm on Friday until 5.30am on Saturday.

M271

There are no closures scheduled for the M271 on this day.

M3

There will be a link road closure from the M3 southbound to the A303 westbound for barrier works to take place.

This will occur from 9pm on Saturday until 6am on Sunday.

M27

On the M27 eastbound way, there will be exit and entry slip road closures between Junction 5 and 7. 

Alongside that, just the exit slip road at Junction 8 will be closed as well.

This will occur from 10pm on Saturday until 5.30am on Sunday.

M271

There are no closures scheduled for the M271 on this day.

M3

On the M3 northbound way, there will be an exit slip road closure at Junction 4 for maintenance works.

This will occur from 9pm on Sunday until 6am on Monday.
