A main road linking Bishopstoke to Colden Common is set to be hit with roadworks in September.
Bishopstoke Lane will be closed for work early in September and drivers are being warned.
The road will close from Monday, September 9, to Friday, September 13 for Hampshire County Council to undertake drainage repairs.
A notice on One.network reads: “Carrying out drainage repairs to existing systems, ditches or ponds.
“Yellow warning signs will be erected to let you know dates the works will take place.”
A diversion route has been set up which takes drivers towards Fair Oak on the B3037, Fair Oak Road and onto Sandy Lane.
Drivers will then join Winchester Road and turn onto Church Lane where they will meet the junction at the top of Bishopstoke Lane.
Footpaths on Bishopstoke Lane will remain open to the public.
