A fine-dining Italian restaurant in the heart of a marina has been named Southampton’s best for the second time.
Figurati has scooped the coveted accolade at the British Restaurant Awards.
The Ocean Village eatery is no stranger to such recognition after claiming the title of Southampton’s best restaurant last year too.
The restaurant was founded in July 2022 by Chris Schutrups, Nicola Schutrups, Richard Gilbert and Sophie Gilbert.
Speaking on the win, Nicola said: “We are delighted that Figurati has held tight onto its title for a second year in a row. What an achievement.
"This past year at Figurati has been incredible.
“We’ve also just had a record-breaking summer with our new terrace and our Taylor Swift cocktail initiative.
“We’ve been overwhelmed by the support of the community and our loyal customers, and we couldn’t have received this award without them."

Head chef Nick O’Halloran, co-founder Rich Gilbert, assistant manager Ciara, and senior sous chef Tony were handed the award at a glittering ceremony in London on Wednesday, August 28.
The event saw top restaurateurs, executive chefs, and food connoisseurs joining for a sparkling ceremony in London.
Other nominees in the category included Blue Jasmine, Carnicero Steakhouse, Coriander Lounge, Ennio’s Everest Cuisine, Késarum, Porters Steakhouse and The Oxford Brasserie.
The British Restaurant Awards, now in its sixth year, is considered the most prestigious culinary event in the UK.
Winners and nominees are determined by public vote.
The accolade comes after Figurati extended its offering this summer with a "brand new outdoor dining terrace".
Boasting a new glass surround, umbrellas, heaters and lights, the improved seating area, the expansion provides an additional 50 seats.
