A new collection of world cruises will set sail from Southampton, a cruise company has announced.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises unveiled exciting new itineraries for sailings in the 2026/27 season.

The new cruises include a “uniquely elevated approach to no-fly cruising” by offering a sailing round trip from the city’s port.

Passengers embarking on the Southampton sailings can expect “well-crafted” itineraries and “sensational dining.”

“Unique to Regent, unlimited included shore excursions present unparallel cultural deep dives in a range of locales – from the Shetland Islands and the Hebrides to La Rochelle and Bordeaux,” a spokesperson from Regent said.

The first cruise of thew new collection is to the English Channel onboard Seven Seas Grandeur.

Departing from Southampton, guests will enjoy a 10-night sailing experience to Saint-Malo and the coast of France, before heading to Spain.

Regent Cruises said: “Art lovers marvel at works in the Guggenheim in Bilbao, foodies will revel in the flavours of Galicia in La Coruña, and history buffs will enjoy strolling the maze-like lanes of Mont Saint-Michel.

“During an overnight in Bordeaux, guests will explore vineyards, historic chateaus, and medieval villages.”

The English Channel Icons cruise will set sail from Southampton on June 6, 2026.

Ten days later, Seven Seas Grandeur will depart Southampton and sail to Edinburgh, exploring Scotland and the Shetland Islands before heading to Norway, Denmark, and Ireland.

“Travellers will experience a new side to old favourites, exploring Britain and Ireland in the lap of luxury,” Regent said.

The cruise line added: “Two calls to Lerwick offers remarkable opportunity for full immersion in the Shetland Islands.

“While a call into Invergordon, guests will be able to take in the moodiness of Loch Ness or the taste and history of Scottish whisky.

“Sailing west to Ireland offers calls to Dublin and Belfast to learn about the history and culture of the Land of Saints and Scholars.”

The British Isles Enchantment cruise sails from Southampton on June 16 for 10 nights.

For a “truly adventurous” experience, travellers can enjoy a 20-night round trip onboard the Seven Seas Voyager.

This cruise, which will leave the city on August 12, 2026, includes seven calls across Iceland to explore lava walks, volcanoes, fjords, and the Blue Lagoon.

Travellers can also explore the Irish countryside and coastal towns.
