The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

SAMUEL DAVIS, 25, of Parsonage Lane, Durley admitted drink driving on Snakemoor Lane, Southampton. He was caught with 90 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Davis was banned from driving for 22 months and must pay a £633 fine. He must also pay £85 court costs and a £253 surcharge.

CALLUM HAYES, 23, of Desborough Road, Eastleigh pleaded guilty to drink driving on High Road, Southampton. He was driving a Ford Focus when he was caught with 64 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Hayes was banned from driving for 18 months and must pay a £300 fine. He was also ordered to pay £85 court costs plus a £120 surcharge.

ANDRZEJ KARENDAL, 59, of Percy Chandler Street, Portsmouth admitted drink driving on the M27 near Southampton. He was caught with 140 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He also pleaded guilty to driving whilst disqualified. Karendal was banned for 60 months and was jailed for 12 weeks. He must also pay £85 court costs plus a £154 surcharge. 

RADOSLAW STACHELEK, 39, of Steuart Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to drink driving on Bitterne Road West. He was caught with 118 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Stachelek received a one-year community order with 170 hours of unpaid work and a 28-month driving ban. He must pay £85 court costs plus a £114 surcharge. 

YAW SARPONG, 34, of Browning Avenue, Portsmouth was found guilty of failing to comply with a lane closure signal on the M27 eastbound at Hedge End. He was driving a Renault between junctions seven and eight at the time. Sarpong was given three points and was fined £82. He was ordered to pay £200 court costs and a £180 surcharge.
