Questions have been raised over why a Southampton woman was not admitted to hospital days before her death, an inquest has been told.
Susan Karen Dixon, 59, of Kingsclere Avenue, died at Southampton General Hospital on June 1, 2023, an inquest heard.
She was admitted to the hospital on April 25 with several health issues. On June 1, Ms Dixon reported shortness of breath to the attending staff. She died later that day.
Senior coroner Christopher Wilkinson said questions had been raised after it was found that Ms Dixon had presented to the hospital on April 22 but was not admitted.
Mr Wilkinson said that questions had been asked about why she had not been admitted earlier.
