Top chef Marco Pierre White, has announced an innovative autumn menu for his restaurant located at the Leonardo Royal Hotel on West Quay Road.
From September 13, the new offerings, featuring in-season ingredients, will become available for diners. There is considerable anticipation for the menu given its seasonal focus.
The establishment stands out not only for its commitment to refreshing its menu every quarter but for the rare privilege of boasting a menu crafted by a chef held in high international esteem.
The new line-up includes a selection of ‘Seasonal Specials’ and a '1961 Prix Fixe' option.
The latter represents both a nod to Mr White's birth year and a savvy bargain for patrons, offering two courses for £19.61.
A tempting array of ‘Seasonal Specials' starters includes dishes like Balmoral Game Pie and Butternut Squash Velouté. Main course options feature dishes like Pan Fried Venison and Wheeler’s Fish Pie.
For diners opting for the '1961 Prix Fixe' menu, starters such as Beetroot & Goat’s Cheese Salad are offered while an array of scrumptious main course offerings include Pea & Shallot Mini Ravioli and Roasted Pork Loin Steak.
Both novice and seasoned food lovers will recognise classic à la carte dishes that Mr White has designed earlier, providing a culinary experience of dynamic and intricately balanced flavours.
Monica Kania, restaurant manager said: "It’s always exciting to launch a new seasonal menu and this one is right up there as being one of the best yet.
"Also, I can’t stress enough the fact that this menu is 100 per cent Marco Pierre White.
"He spends days with our executive head chef, Jason Everett, going through dish ideas and cooking them to see if they work, so it’s as close as anyone will get to having your meal cooked by the great man himself.
"Plus, the chance to enjoy a steak main plus a starter for just £19.61 off the ‘1961 Prix Fixe’ is superb value for money and is great for things like lunch dates."
