Sailings have been cancelled on Red Funnel's car ferry service, the Isle of Wight ferry firm has said.
A familiar technical issue with one of the cross-Solent operator's vessels is to blame.
A problem has occurred with the Voith unit on the company's Red Eagle boat.
As a result, the 2pm sailing from Southampton was cancelled, as is the 3.30pm from East Cowes.
A spokesperson for Red Funnel said: "We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
Red Eagle also experienced issues with its Voith unit last month (August), as previously reported.
The Voith unit is a key component within the vessel’s forward propeller system.
It's currently unclear whether more sailings will be affected throughout the day.
