New build homes in the New Forest are among the most expensive in the region, according to new data.
Newly built housing in the district has an average price of £850,000, which was the second highest in the South East.
The most expensive new homes in the region could be found in Woking, where a new build cost on average £886,250.
The study analysed public data from the Office for National Statistics to determine which local authorities had the highest average recorded price paid for newly built housing last year.
Also priced highly in the study was East Hampshire, ranked ninth, with new builds priced on average at £529,950.

Eastleigh was ranked 21st, with new builds costing £467,500, closely followed by Winchester in 27th at £446,973.
Ranking much lower is Basingstoke, with new build homes priced at £433,750.
A spokesperson for One Sure Insurance, the group behind the study, said: “Countless new housing developments are cropping up across the country each year and an increasing number of people looking into buying new homes.
“With this in mind it would be beneficial to see whether these median price points remain the same for each area or might shift depending on the current demand.”
