Police have been called due to concerns for a man's welfare on the Itchen Bridge in Southampton.
The bridge was shut after emergency services were called last night at around 9.14pm (September 7).
Police received reports of concern for the welfare of a man on the bridge.
Officers attended and the man was taken into the care of paramedics from the South Central Ambulance Service.
Emergency services left the scene and the bridge was reopened shortly after 10pm.
