Christmas getaways

Add some luxury to your Christmas with Solent Hotel and Spa’s ready-made Christmas packages; providing the ultimate festive minibreak (without the stress of planning!).

Check-in at your leisure, enjoy the great facilities that the spa has to offer and treat yourself to a luxurious spa treatment (pre-booking advised, supplements apply). Our Christmas Afternoon Tea will be served during the afternoon. Before dinner, join the Salvation Army for some festive carols with a glass of mulled wine and mince pies. Three-course dinner will be served in the hotel restaurant.

As Christmas Day begins, start the morning off in style with a Bucks Fizz Breakfast. There will be time for presents and a stroll before joining us for a glass of Champagne and savoury nibbles followed by a four-course lunch. Settle into the afternoon and watch the King's speech. Join us from 7pm for our home from home Christmas Buffet.

As Boxing Day rolls around, why not take advantage of our superb location and explore the local area, which includes the magical New Forest and the historical quarters of Southampton and Portsmouth. If you prefer, just spend the day relaxing in the first-class Spa or maybe play some board games by the fire in the bar with your fellow guests. The day is finished off with Chef's hot and cold buffet.

Father Christmas Sunday lunches

Santa Claus is coming to town…and he’s checking in to Solent Hotel and Spa on the 8th, 15th and 22nd  December 2024.

The only thing better than a delicious, homecooked Sunday lunch created by the hotel’s award-winning chefs is the look on your little one’s face when they see that Father Christmas has popped in to say hello.
