The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

FARREN GORMAN, 27, of Tatwin Crescent, Southampton admitted possessing an offensive weapon, namely an extendable baton at Southampton Central Railway Station and possessing a controlled drug of Class B, cannabis. Gorman was fined £673 and must pay £85 court costs plus a £269 surcharge. An order was made for the forfeiture and destruction of the baton and drugs.

ARMANDO CHITU, 22, of Wolseley Road, Southampton was found guilty of driving without insurance on the M3/A27 south at Clock Roundabout, Southampton. Chitu was fined £660 and received six points. He must also pay £110 court costs. 

EMMA JANE ELDRIDGE, 46, of Warren Avenue, Southampton pleaded guilty to driving without insurance on London Road, Southampton in a Ford. She was fined £216 and received eight points. Eldridge must pay £110 court costs and an £84 surcharge.

BERNARD MUSIYAZVIRIYO, 42, of Upper Northam Close, Hedge End admitted using a vehicle with insufficient tyre tread at junction two of the M27 eastbound in a Volkswagen. He received a £246 fine and three points. Musiyazviriyo must pay a £98 surcharge. 

PHILIPPA WEBBER, 61, of Marine Drive East, Barton-on-Sea pleaded guilty to exceeding a 30mph speed limit on Silver Street, Hordle. She was clocked at 42mph in a Ford. Webber was fined £72 and received three points. She must pay a £28 surcharge. 

MICHAEL TUFFIN, 59, of Fleming Avenue, North Baddesley admitted failing to comply with sex offenders register notification requirements in that he failed to notify police of his changed financial details. Tuffin was fined £80 and must pay £85 court costs plus a £32 surcharge. 

JACK DUNFORD, 26, of Auterberry Way, Gosport pleaded guilty to failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a Ford Transit. He was banned for six months and received six points plus a £660 fine. Dunford must pay £110 court costs and a £264 surcharge.
