A packed autumn calendar is ahead for music fans in Southampton as some of the most exciting new acts visit the city alongside big names and local rising stars.
Music industry backed phenomena The Last Dinner Party, Embrace and Liverpool legends Cast and The Lightning Seeds are set to perform, while Southampton acts The Manatees, Calum Lintott, Jack Francis, The Strifes and Stone Branches are also on board.
Hotly tipped Birmingham band The Clause will play The Engine Rooms in November with support from Tom A Smith, before ex-Eastenders star Shaun Williamson returns with a fun Christmas Barrioke session at the same venue in December.

After a summer on festival stages, The K’s play their biggest Southampton date so far at The 1865 in December, bringing songs from their 2024 top three debut album I Wonder If the World Knows?
The city's O2 Guildhall hosts the BBC ‘Sound of 2024’ winners The Last Dinner Party in October and blues singer Seasick Steve in November, while The Engine Rooms sees the return of Cast and Embrace in November, and Top Loader in December.
Marseille, Lauren Hibberd and Southampton acts Calum Lintott, Welly and Stone Branches are at The Joiners this month, before Fife’s Shambolics, The Covasettes, Feet, Benefits, The Luka State, The Skinner Brothers and Gaz Broomfield appear there across October and November.
In November, The Lightning Seeds will celebrate 35 years together at The 1865, where Wunderhorse, Alfie Templeton and Dylan John Thomas also headline this autumn. Elsewhere, Southampton’s The Dead Freights join San Quentin and Mega Sun Machine at The Brook.
The Concorde Club sees the return of Is This the Way to Amarillo? star Tony Christie this month, while city centre venue Papillon has sets from songwriter and former Suede guitarist Bernard Butler in November as well as Southampton’s The Manatees in September and Jack Francis in October.
Next month, Southampton bands The Strifes headline The Stage Door with support from fellow local acts Jot Sloppy and The Straights, and Heartbreakers host London band Sterling Press and Leeds’ Van Houten.
