Update: Peter Holloway has now been located.
A search has been launched for a missing 79-year-old man who was last seen in Southampton.
Peter Holloway was last seen close to the Houndwell Park playground on Pound Tree Road, Southampton at around 1.30pm this afternoon.
Police say he may appear confused and might try to make his way back to his home in Hedge End.
He may also be in the Bitterne area.
Peter is described as white, 5ft 3ins tall, with grey hair.
He was last seen wearing a light green shirt and a dark blue fleece.
A police spokesperson said: "If you have seen him since 1.30pm this afternoon or think you might know where he is now, please contact us immediately on 101 quoting 44240388825. In an emergency dial 999."
