An inquest has opened into the death of a man who was crushed by his car.
Peter Jackson, 66, of Shamblehurst Lane, Hedge End, died at his home on August 30.
The inquest into his death was opened at Winchester Coroners' Court on Wednesday, September 11 by assistant coroner Sally Olsen.
She said that on the day Mr Jackson died he was attempting to fix the handbrake on his car when an issue occurred causing him to become trapped underneath.

Emergency services were called, and Mr Jackson was removed when it was found he was suffering from a collapsed lung.
Life-saving attempts were made but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to Ms Olsen, the initial cause of death has been given as multiple injuries.
The full inquest into Mr Jackson's death will take place at Winchester Coroner's Court on August 28 next year.
