Summer is not over yet according to the Met Office, which is predicting that temperatures will rise in Southampton over the next week.
Despite lows of just three degrees forecast for today, the weather is set to improve in the next seven days with the mercury soaring to 25 degrees.

Below is a day-by-day forecast from the Met Office over the next week:
- Friday, September 13: Sunny with highs of 18 degrees and lows of three degrees
- Saturday, September 14: Sunny with highs of 19 degrees and lows of 5 degrees
- Sunday, September 15: Sunny intervals changing to partly cloudy by early evening. Highs of 21 degrees and lows of 8 degrees.
- Monday, September 16: Sunny intervals with a high of 23 degrees and lows of 7.
- Tuesday, September 17: Sunny intervals with highs of 25 and lows of 8.
- Wednesday, September 18: Sunny intervals changing to partly cloudy by night-time. High of 25 and a low of 11.
- Thursday, September 19: Sunny intervals changing to partly cloudy by night-time. Average temperature of 22 degrees.
