The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...
SARAH GILLET, 50, of Warren Avenue, Southampton pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing an offensive weapon in a private place. She was caught with a knuckleduster and a butterfly knife at Leonardo Hotel in Southampton. She was fined £160 and must pay a £64 surcharge. The court ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the items.
QUINTON SIMMS, 24, of Centenary Plaza, Southampton admitted possessing a controlled drug of Class B. He was caught with cannabis in Southampton. Simms was fined £80 and must pay £40 court costs plus a £32 surcharge. An order was made for the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs.
ASHIK ALI, 48, of Hyde Gate, Winchester pleaded guilty to two counts of theft from a shop after four perfumes and a skincare gift set worth £635 were stolen from John Lewis in Southampton. Ali was jailed for four weeks.

MATEUSZ DOMAGALA, 29, of Channels Farm Road, Southampton admitted assault by beating of an emergency worker. This relates to a police constable. He also pleaded guilty to drug driving on Portswood Road, Southampton. Domagala was banned for 12 months and must pay a £1,610 fine, £100 compensation, £85 court costs and a £644 surcharge.
Dillon Cooper, 21, of Burnt House Lane, Christchurch pleaded guilty to causing £1,300 worth of criminal damage to a vehicle in Hampshire. He also admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of or provoke unlawful violence and theft from a motor vehicle. This relates to camping equipment and tools he stole in Emnery Down. Cooper received an 18-month community order with 29 rehabilitation days and 270 hours of unpaid work. He was ordered to pay £2,746.62 compensation for the theft and £650 compensation for the damage.
