The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

BILLY BOWERS, 24, of Botley Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention at the junction between Chapel Lane and Lockhams Road in Curdridge. He was fined £450 and received six points. Bowers must pay £85 court costs and a £180 surcharge. 

MYLES FILOSE, 42, of Hill Lane, Southampton admitted theft from a shop after packets of meat worth £36.75 were stolen from Tesco in Brockenhurst. He received a 24-month conditional discharge and must pay £376.75 compensation plus £85 court costs. 

KELLY HUTCHINGS, 37, of Wilton Avenue, Hythe pleaded guilty to failing to answer to bail at Southampton Police Station. Hutchings was fined £40 and must pay £85 court costs.

BENJAMIN RANDALL, 36, of Southampton Road, Hythe admitted assault by beating, harassment without violence and dangerous driving in Upper Bugle Street. Randall received a 24-week sentence suspended for 24 months with a 30-day accredited programme and five rehabilitation days. He was banned from driving for 18 months and must pay £85 court costs plus a £154 surcharge. 

GEORGE EVEREST, 34, of Kings Road, East Cowes pleaded guilty to drug driving at the Red Funnel Ferry Terminal in Southampton. He was driving a Mercedes GLA when he was caught with Benzoylecgonine - a break-down product of cocaine - in his blood. Everest was banned for 12 months and fined £120. He must pay £85 court costs and a £48 surcharge. 

TINA JOHNSON, 53, of Lyon Street, Southampton admitted three counts of theft from a shop after she stole items worth a total of £581.10 including fragrances from John Lewis and Sainsbury's in Southampton. She received a one-year community order with a drug rehabilitation requirement and eight rehabilitation days. Johnson must pay £200 compensation and £85 court costs.
