'Beat the wall, beat the wall'. It's a regular chant in our household as excitement reaches fever pitch in the closing moments of the popular TV programme Ninja Warrior UK: Race for Glory.
My ten and six-year-old daughters absolutely love watching the family entertainment, which sees opponents take on a physical obstacle assault course as part of an ITV game show.
And now they've done it themselves!

Having visited Ninja Warrior's Southampton site, at Antelope Business Park in Thornhill, earlier in the year, we took a trip back to try it out once again following a £250,000 refurbishment.
The all-new inflatable with brand-new obstacles such as climbing walls, a redesigned obstacle run, launch pad and slides has definitely made a difference and the venue feels fresher, cleaner and less busy.
There are three sections, the first a run where you can test your Ninja skills while climbing, balancing and swinging across obstacles.
Next up is the brilliant revamped inflatable area with its own climbing walls, a racing obstacle course, several slides and so much more. It's a giant playground for the whole family and we absolutely loved every minute of our time taking it on.
We managed to balance, jump, and swing, lift, and most definitely fall, our way around the giant inflatable, using muscles we didn't even know we had!
Then it was time to beat the wall.
Both girls were determined to succeed and conquer the famous Warped Wall before pressing a buzzer at the top.
They succeeded and were rightly proud of themselves. A big thank you to Eva, one of the very friendly team at Ninja Warrior, who gave them the confidence (and the occasional push) they needed to succeed. Mum and Dad found it a lot trickier than the kids!
After a busy morning trying to conquer the courses, we were certainly ready for our lunch - some tasty pizzas washed down with energy boosting slushies - in the onsite cafe overlooking the obstacles.
I felt like I'd done a seriously tough full-body workout, but had so much family fun in the process.
It's a great activity and we loved the atmosphere. Give it a go and unleash your inner ninja!
