A rescue helicopter was seen flying over a river in search of a person in the early hours of this morning.
HM Coastguard was called by Hampshire Constabulary to assist with an ongoing incident.
The incident involved searching for a person in the Bursledon area, near the River Hamble.
Two coastguard teams worked alongside the police and two lifeboat crews to locate the person, who was later found.

They were later passed into the care of the ambulance service.
Police officers confirmed it was in relation to a concern for welfare of a man and he was brought to safety.
A spokesperson from HM Coastguard said: “HM Coastguard assisted Hampshire Constabulary with an incident near Bursledon today.
“Alerted at around 1.30am, Lymington and Hill Head coastguard rescue teams were tasked alongside the HM Coastguard helicopter from Lee-on-Solent, Calshot RNLI all weather lifeboat, Calshot RNLI inshore lifeboat and Hamble independent lifeboat.”
