A recent Saints signing has become the latest ambassador to join a charity that provides special days for seriously ill people.

Goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale is backing Willow, which supports 16 to 40-year-olds.

In recent years he has attended several of their events, including the Willow Golf Classic earlier in 2024, and helping to provide special experiences for some of the charity’s beneficiaries.

Willow has strong ties to the footballing world, founded by former Arsenal goalkeeper, Bob Wilson, and his wife Megs in memory of their daughter Anna, 25 years ago.

David Seaman is Honorary President with his wife, Frankie.

Aaron said: “I’m seriously proud to be an ambassador for Willow. Having come from Arsenal where Bob and David are so well known, I learnt a lot about the charity and felt a very strong connection to it.”
