A Falklands War veteran shared his experiences with a local rotary club.
Charlie Threlfall, who served on HMS Broadsword, gave a talk at a Hythe and Waterside Rotary meeting.
He is part of the Bomb Alley Survivors Club.
His presentation recounted the events of the 1982 conflict, featuring photographs from the time.
Rotarians and guests expressed gratitude for his stories, which were both lighthearted and moving.
The talk highlighted the dangers faced by armed forces during the war. The club made a donation to the RNLI, where Mr Threlfall is training to become a volunteer.
A spokesperson for the club said: "Mr Threlfall's stories were both lighthearted and very moving, highlighting the dangers faced by our brave armed forces during this war."
