A Grade II-listed converted 18th century mill in breathtaking grounds reminiscent of a John Constable painting is up for sale for the first time in 40 years, priced at a whopping £2 million.
Barford Mill occupies around eight acres of idyllic North Hampshire grounds including a lake, stream, gardens and woodland.
It is understood to have been a part of a trio of mills operating on the Barford stream, the upper and lower ones involved in flock and papermaking, while the middle one ground corn. Grindstones can be found in the gardens.
Barford Mill, in the sought after village of Churt, five miles from Farnham, stopped working commercially at some time prior to the 1930s and was converted into a private house.
