CCTV images have been released after alcohol and groceries worth £2,000 were stolen from Waitrose. 

Police have released photos of two men after items were stolen from Waitrose at The Furlong, Ringwood. 

The incident took place at 6pm on June 13 and saw £2,000 of alcohol and groceries stolen. 

Now officers want to speak to the two men in the photos as part of their investigation.

The first man is described as white, approximately 5ft 10ins tall, aged in his early 40s, of stocky build with short brown hair and clean shaven.

He was wearing a long black jacket, blue denim jeans and white trainers

The second man is described as white, approximately 5ft 9ins tall, aged in his early 40s with short dark hair and a goatee beard.

He also has tattoos on both arms and on the back of his neck.

A police spokesperson said: "We believe the men in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge them, or anyone who knows their identity, to get in touch with us.

"Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.
