A busy road was closed after a multi-vehicle crash.
Police officers were called to Burgess Road near the junction with The Avenue after 11pm last night.
It followed reports of a crash involving a Peugeot 206 and a Fiat 500.
Officers described the crash as a “minor injury collision”.

The spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary added: “Burgess Road was initially closed while police dealt with the collision, however, was reopened a short while later.”
Motorists were warned about the closure on social media site X, with the city council’s travel team urging people to avoid the area.
The post read: “Emergency services have closed Burgess Road between Butterfield Road and The Avenue while in attendance.
“Please plan your journeys.”
