Drivers have been warned of a road closure as carriageway repairs get underway on a residential street.
Southampton City Council's highways department has warned drivers of a road closure on Chessel Crescent near Bitterne Road West.
The road is currently shut at its junction with Little Lance's Hill with works having started at 8am this morning.
Carriageway repairs along Chessel Crescent, Monday 23 September for 1 day between 8:00am and 4:00pm.

It is expected to remain closed until 4pm today for carriageway repairs to take place.
