A man has required hospital treatment after he turned up at a police station with stab wounds to his back.
The 32-year-old was seriously assaulted on Quay Street in Fareham at around 11am on Monday, and sought refuge at the nearby police station.
He received medical treatment and was taken to Southampton General Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.

Police said that a man was arrested at the scene and a knife was recovered.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "Following our enquiries Steven Colin Hardy, 44, of no fixed address has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent, possession of a knife in a public place, and possession of cannabis.
"He had been remanded to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court on Tuesday where he was further remanded to next appear in court on Monday, October 28."
