The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

CHRISTOPHER BESSEY, 53, of Rownhams Road, Havant pleaded guilty to drink driving at Netley Firs Close in Southampton. He was caught with 101 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Bessey received a one-year community order with 15 rehabilitation days. He was banned for 23 months and fined £441. Bessey must also pay £85 court costs and a £114 surcharge. 

STEPHEN FIELDING, 27, of Lancaster Road, Southampton was found guilty of assault by beating. He received a one-year community order with an alcohol treatment requirement and 20 rehabilitation days. Fielding must pay £86 court costs. 

BILLY O'BRIEN, 26, of Lumpy Lane, Southampton admitted assault by beating and assault by beating of an emergency worker. He received an eight-week sentence suspended for 18 months with an alcohol abstinence and monitoring requirement and 48 rehabilitation days.

CLARE PAWLIK, 48, of Lordswood pleaded guilty to drink driving on High Street, Southampton. She was caught with 139 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Pawlik received a one-year community order with 20 rehabilitation days and a 29-month driving ban. She must pay a £120 fine, £40 court costs and a £114 surcharge. 

DARIUSZ RYCAJ, 37, of Brookside Way, Southampton admitted drink driving on Upper Grosvenor Road, Southampton. He was caught with 127 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Rycaj was given a one-year community order with an alcohol abstinence and monitoring requirement, eight rehabilitation days and 80 hours of unpaid work. He was banned for 32 months and must pay £85 court costs plus a £114 surcharge. 

JOSHUA LOVEGROVE, 29, of Jessamine Road, Shirley pleaded guilty to assault by beating of an emergency worker. This relates to a police officer. Lovegrove received a one-year community order with 10 rehabilitation and a £126 fine. He must pay £300 compensation.
