Builders have moved in on a Southampton home destroyed by arson with the culprits never caught.
Firefighters rushed to a fire in a garden next to the house on Bitterne Road West at around 2.30pm on Saturday, June 24, 2023.
The blaze quickly spread to the roof and two days after the blaze, police released an appeal to find three children - aged between 12 and 16 - believed to have started the fire.

These children were never caught by police and in August the home was sold at auction for £170,000 – despite missing much of its roof as a result of the fire.
Since the blaze, the home was left in a state of disrepair, which was made worse with heavy bouts of wind and rain throughout the year.
Wooden panels have now been erected around the property and the windows have been removed.
