A yellow weather warning is in place for Southampton as the Met Office predicts heavy rain throughout tonight.
Residents are being warned of possible flooding and travel disruption as rain is due to his the south of England and Wales.
The warning, which covers Southampton and Hampshire, lasts from 4pm today until 9am on Monday.
Interruption to power supplies and other services is possible whilst bus and train services are also expected to be impacted.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: “Further heavy rain is likely to cause some travel delays and flooding on Sunday evening and night.
“Flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely.
“Much of the warning area is likely to see 20-30mm fall over nine to 12 hours, though some places may see 50-80mm.”
