A flood alert has been issued after a month's worth of rain has fallen in just nine days.
Residents in Ower and Cadnam have been told flooding is possible after levels in the River Blackwater were deemed high and rising.
In the last 12 hours, 25mm of rain has been recorded in Romsey, after nine days of persistent wet weather, where more than a month’s rain has been recorded.
From 10.30am today, the river will flood land, fields and roads at Cadnam, West Wellow, Landford and Ower.

The agency has said it expects flooding to soon clear as only a small amount of rain is forecast in the coming days.
A spokesperson for the Environment Agency said: "We continue to monitor the forecast. Our operations staff will work to ensure the river remains free of any reported blockages.
"Please ensure that pumps used to protect property are operating correctly."
Areas that are most at risk of flooding include: Landford to East Wellow and Wade Bridge on the River Blackwater, and Cadnam to Ower on the Cadnam River.
