An investigation has been launched after a four-year-old girl accidentally swallowed tablets including anti-depressants at school.
Dempsey Bean took the tablets while at Mason Moor Primary School in Millbrook on Monday, her mum Jade Smith said.
Jade said she was "horrified" when she was told about it by staff and has pulled her daughter out of the school.
Dempsey, who has only been at Mason Moor in Helvellyn Road since the start of the school term in September, needs constant adult supervision due to autism and being non-verbal.

Mum Jade, 36, said: “I could not believe it - I had a call from Mason Moor telling me that my daughter had managed to ingest tablets when her care plan states she needs to be under constant supervision while she is in school.
“I was shaking, screaming and in tears when I found out.”
Dempsey had swallowed one anti-depressant, Duloxetine, and two Pregabalin, used to treat epilepsy and anxiety, according to a discharge letter from hospital.
At this stage it is not known how the four-year-old managed to ingest the tablets.
After rushing to the school, Jade and Dempsey were accompanied by two members of staff to Southampton General Hospital's accident and emergency department.

The mum continued: “I want to know what an earth was happening in that class.
“I hope no parents ever have to go through something like this with their child. It's just so shocking when you put your child’s life in someone’s hands and this happens.
“It's an absolute disgrace. I'm disgusted that something like this has been allowed to happen to my daughter.
“That is why I have taken the decision to remove her from Mason Moor School.”
Jade says she will now search for a new school for Dempsey.
While at hospital, clinicians confirmed that Dempsey had taken an overdose of antidepressants, according to the youngster's discharge note.
They confirmed an accidental ingestion of Pregablin and Duloxetine, the report continues, but calculated the dose was not toxic.
She was discharged home later that day with Jade given advice to return or seek medical advice should any abnormal symptoms develop.
A spokesperson for Mason Moor Primary School decline to provide any comment.
Southampton City Council confirmed an investigation had been launched, but said it was unable to comment while that was being conducted.
