A MAN has pleaded guilty to two counts of shoplifting. 

Quincy Rufus Digby Hopkins, 26 and of no fixed abode, appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Monday, September 30 where he admitted to the two charges against him. 

The two thefts occurred last month at the Budgens store in Salisbury Road, Blashford.

During the first incident, on Saturday, September 21, £100 worth of meat was stolen. 

And during the second incident, on Sunday, September 22, £80 worth of meat was stolen. 

Hopkins, from Ringwood, was remanded in custody, to next appear at the same court for sentencing on Monday, October 21.
