A deputy care manager has been named in a prestigious list celebrating young talent in the care sector.

Hollie Hall, deputy care manager at Russell Churcher Court in Gosport, has been named in The Care Show’s Thirty Under 30 list for 2024. The list celebrates future leaders in the sector.

Since joining Thorngate Churcher Trust in 2023, Hollie has shown commitment to ensuring residents in the care home receive high-quality care. She has also shown strong team management skills.

The Thirty Under 30 awards ceremony will be held on October 10 in Birmingham. Winners will receive personalised awards and join a support network of professionals to help their career growth.

Being shortlisted for the award is a significant achievement, with many applicants evaluated by industry judges. Hollie hopes to inspire future care professionals through her nomination, highlighting the positive impact of a career in care.

Hollie said: "I was shocked and proud to be nominated. My role is incredibly fulfilling, and I love interacting with our residents. They are such a fantastic bunch, and it means the world knowing that the work we do every day makes a difference and helps to improve their lives.

"It’s amazing to have my work recognised by such an important award. However, I couldn’t do my job without my supportive, dedicated and passionate team."

Anne Taylor, chief executive of Thorngate Churcher Trust, praised Hollie’s contributions, saying: "She’s an asset to our team and truly deserving of this recognition. We are excited to see Hollie’s work continue to positively impact our community and look forward to supporting her development along the way."
