Southampton has plenty of cruises that depart from its port every month, with the majority of them lasting for under two weeks.

However, if you're looking to enjoy a bit of a longer voyage then there are a few that will depart from the city and last for more than two weeks.

These cruises will travel around destinations such as the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.

Departing: Sunday, October 6

This 21-night cruise will stop off a few European destinations in the first part of its journey, which will include Le Havre, Bilbao, Vigo and Funchal in Madeira.

After that, it will travel across the Atlantic Ocean to visit the likes of Saint John's, Saint Thomas and Grand Cayman.

It will then finish up at Galveston in Texas.

Caribbean

Departing: Friday, October 18

This 15-night cruise will stop off at Funchal in Madeira, Saint John's, St Kitts and Castries before finishing up in Bridgetown in Barbados.

Canary Islands

Departing: Tuesday, October 22

Several spots around the Canary Islands will be visited on this 16-night cruise, including Santa Cruz de La Palma, Tenerife, Lanzarote and Cadiz before returning to Southampton.

Caribbean

Departing: Friday, October 25

This P&O Cruise will stop off at Tenerife, before continuing onto Caribbean destinations such as Sint Maarten, Saint Kitts and Bridgetown, Barbados.

It lasts for 15 nights overall and will finish up in Bridgetown.

This is a slightly longer version of the P&O cruise directly above where it will also visit Martinique and Tortola in the British Virgin Islands before finishing up at Saint John's.
